Your Questions Answered


Where is your Studio? 

Our studio is located in the community of Vista Heights.  We would love for you to come to visit us but we ask you to make contact with us in advance of your visit as we are not always physically on location. Our address is Bay 8, 2616 16th Street NE.  We are on the second floor and our entrance is directly right of the bright red AMAZING sign. 

What are your hours? 

We're open 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, and Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm 

Do the Daily Flower Menu items change often? 

While we offer flower bouquets wrapped in paper and flower arrangements year-round, you'll notice changes in our designs with the change of every season.  Our bouquets and arrangements are not stagnant but are constantly changing with the season and change with the varieties that come available. We also create special holiday flower menus for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Professional Administrators Week, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Placing an Order 

How do I place an order? 

It's easy to order online! Browse our Daily Flower Menu, Wedding Menu, Floral Subscription, Workshops or Plants - add your selections to your cart and follow the prompts to place your order for delivery or in-store pickup. You'll find a delivery or pick-up option available at checkout. 

How many stems of flowers can I expect for your different price points?

To maintain flexibility with fluctuating flower prices and selections, we purposefully do not specify the exact number of stems in each price tier. A $30 mini bouquet could range from a single mini cymbidium stem to up to 6 flowers, while a $40 arrangement may contain 2to 3 additional stems, depending on the weekly flower selection. We aim to offer variety by changing the options weekly. A mini or petite bouquet serves as a thoughtful gesture. The Classic ($85) represents the typical mid amount our clients spend on a beautiful bouquet, while the Deluxe ($115) provides a larger bouquet with the option of some premium blooms, and the Opulent ($150+) offers a stunning arrangement.  Our customer's average spend is typically in or around the $120.00 range to give you an idea of what most spend.

How can I cancel or modify my order? 

To cancel a scheduled flower order please call us at 403.245.5543 or email us at Orders being cancelled or modified later than 24 hours of the pick-up/delivery date may be ineligible for a refund.   Read more about out Refund Policy Here

Can I make special requests? 

Small Flower’s arrangements are all one of a kind! Each one is subject to flower availability and seasonality. While we can take requests for certain colour palettes we reserve the right to substitute as needed. That means we cannot guarantee any specific flowers or colours. To add certain requests for flower choices, allergies, or colour preferences, please add your note in our "notes to florist" section when placing your order. 



Do you deliver? 

Absolutely! We offer delivery almost anywhere in or around Calgary as well as Red Deer and Edmonton, Monday-Saturday. Simply place your order online select a delivery date at checkout, and use the drop-down box to pick your delivery area.  


How much does delivery cost? 

Delivery pricing starts at $15.00 and will vary if the location is outside city limits. If you know the name of the outlying area, the delivery fee will automatically be calculated for you at the checkout.  If you are unsure if the address is outside of the city limits, click “Calgary,” and we will contact you if anything needs to be changed and if additional fees apply.


Can I pick up my Flowers at your Studio?

In-store pickup is free and available, but we ask you to let us know your timeline to make sure we will be in the studio. 

What time will my flowers be delivered? 

Small Flower can not accommodate “am” deliveries, unless you are willing to pay a premium fee for the special delivery.  Our standard delivery schedule is Monday through Saturday between 12pm to 8pm, with most orders delivered by 6pm. Please note we do not commit to exact delivery time requests, but rest assured your blooms will be delivered to the address you inputted.. Delivery times vary based on delivery drivers' routes and the recipient's distance from our shops. While we cannot guarantee a specific time for standard deliveries, priority delivery may be available for an added fee, depending on our driver's route for the day. If you'd like to request priority delivery for your order, please select the Rush option and the flowers will be delivered 3 hours from the time the delivery is placed. Please use the dropbox for delivery regions and click the Rush Delivery option or call us at 403.245.5543 or email us at with your order number and the details of when you'd like your delivery scheduled and we will see what we can do what can to accommodate.  There is a Premium Rush delivery  of an additional 20.00 for local YYC deliveries and an additional $35.00 for Airdrie and Chestermere deliveries.  Outlier Areas of Calgary would have an additional fee of $20.00.

Do you offer same-day deliveries? 

Our online shop has a  12 noon  cutoff time (M-F) for same-day delivery. Our cut-off time for same-day delivery on Saturdays is 10 am.  Give us a call at 403.245.5543 to request same-day delivery if you have missed this cut off and we will see what we can do. Need flowers ASAP? Pop by our studio, but we ask you to call in advance to make sure we are on location. Our address is Bay 8, 2616 16th Street NE. Can I track the status of my delivery?

Yes, once your beautiful flowers are in the hands of our trusted delivery partner, Deeleeo, you'll receive an email notification when the flowers have been picked up from our studio . This will include a tracking link, allowing you to monitor your floral delivery in real-time. Stay effortlessly updated on the status of your flower order and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly when your blooms will arrive.

What are you delivery charges?

Our regular city wide deliver rate that is $15.00 within YYC city limits. Special 3 hour times delivery rate is $$35.00, within city limits.  Delivery fees for all out lying areas of the city range in cost depending on distance from our studio and area demand.  Please use the dropbox under delivery region at checkout for detail prices. We are happy to announce that we now deliver to  Edmonton and Red Deer for a fee of $30.00  with all delivery complete by 8:30pm. These rates are subject to change without notice and do not apply to delivery rates for special SUPER PEAK SEASON delivery days—Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas. Shipping fees are automatically calculated when you use the Dropbox function for delivery areas. If you are unsure of the area, click Calgary, and we can adjust the delivery fee if it is outside of our city limits and make contact with you for approval.


What are your payment options?

We currently accept Credit card payment through our online portal (visa, Master Card),  Etransfer, cash in studio or Debit.

How do I get billed?

You are charged only when your credit card information is verified and as soon as we confirm the sale at the end of the transaction. Credit card companies usually bill by local currency equivalent to the purchase price at the time of order.

Weddings + Events 

Do you do flowers for weddings? 

Yes! We have two services: our a la carte wedding menu and full-service floral design. Our a la carte menu has a curated selection of items for you to choose from. This option has no minimums and is available only for Calgary deliveries. How far in advance should I place my flower order for my upcoming birthday, baby shower, wedding shower, etc.? 

The earlier, the better! If you know you have a special event coming up, please place your order at least 3 weeks in advance. This gives us time to source any extra unique blooms you've requested and coordinate delivery times with our drivers so your blooms arrive picture-perfect. 

Do you do workshops? 

Yes! We love hosting workshops where we teach flower arranging, flower crown making, wreath making and even more! Sign up for our newsletter to stay current on when they are scheduled. Flower Subscriptions 

Do you do flower subscriptions? 

Yes! You can sign up for a recurring flower order weekly, biweekly, monthly or quarterly to celebrate the glory of each season. Pick between our cut bouquets or arrangements, or choose a plant subscription.  You can have your order delivered or come in and pick it up. We may be biased, but we think a flower subscription may be the best gift you can give or receive - or sign yourself up for weekly flowers to brighten your home or office.  Make sure to use the discount code offered to all floral subscriptions at checkout, it's are small way of saying thank you for being part of our Small Flower family.

Are there any perks to your flower subscription services? 

Our Small Flower Club flower subscription makes it easy to receive beautiful flowers on the regular at a discount (15% off when ordering +4)! We offer convenient delivery and pickup options, and subscribers qualify for 10% off ALL additional purchases, including additional flowers or gifts for yourself or when sending them to others. Plus, you're the first to know about any special events or promotions we plan! 

How can I make changes to my subscription? 

Please make an account when you are starting a Floral Subscription; it makes the process so much easier, and although it is an extra step, it allows you to have control of any changes you need to make 


Login to your online account, where you can find all your subscription info in one place. Make any changes needed on your subscriptions page. You can change the date, skip your next subscription, or cancel. Please make changes at least 48 hours in advance; if later than 48 hours please call us directly at 403.245.5543

Do you offer discounts? 

Our Small Flower Club subscribers (see above) receive a 15% off on their subscription order and a 10% discount on all other purchases.  We will provide you with a discount code that you need to use on all future orders ( or remind us that you have a subscription, and we will be sure to apply your discount for you). At the time of placing your order, you must apply the appropriate discount code at checkout for the discount to be applied.


Other FAQs 

Where do you get your flowers? 

During Calgary’s short but ever-so-sweet summer months, we buy as much of our product as possible from our local Alberta and BC growers; we have also built a strong relationship with a handful of local wholesalers and purchase directly from Holland throughout the year.  

How long will my flowers last? What can I do to help them last longer? 

The best way to care for your flowers is to keep them in fresh, cool water away from direct sunlight or any heat source. We've done a few experiments to see what keeps flowers fresh, and time after time, replacing vase water daily is the trick that keeps our flowers looking their very best longer. Certain varieties of flowers last longer than others, but with proper care, our cut flowers and arrangements can last 3-7 days, sometimes even longer!  

Can I order a Doz roses? Or an Arrangement of Peonies?

Small Flower {floral studio} creates bouquets and arrangements in our signature "garden style," using an elegant variety of the best seasonal flowers available. Using a wide range of flowers allows our designers' the freedom to create bespoke arrangements that are as fresh as can be. For those who like single mono-flower designs, we do offer Doz Roses. Occasionally, we offer unique seasonal products that celebrate our favourite flowers — like romantic roses for Valentine's Day or big bunches of Peony or Lilac in the spring! Do you want to build a bouquet filled with your favourite flowers? There is a section with all of our designs where you are invited to leave special "notes to the designer" and we will do what we can to fill your order to your request when possible but can not always guarantee specific varieties or colours.  We would love for you to come to visit so you can pick up your flowers as well; we ask you to call in advance to make sure we are in the studio when you plan to visit.  Call 403.245.5543 to see what's in the cooler and build your dream bouquet! 

How many stems are in each bouquet or arrangement? 

It varies depending on the season and the style of bouquet or arrangement! We arrange the freshest flowers in our signature "garden style" and charge market price per stem, so the stem count changes based on what varieties are available each week. We strive to keep our style consistent throughout the year, using a wide variety of mixed flowers and foliage. However, bear in mind that flower varieties will fluctuate in cost depending on the season.
